The Cridge Brain Injury Services

The Cridge Centre for the Family has been providing brain injury services since 1991. We are committed to providing supportive services for survivors of brain injury in Greater Victoria that provide a continuum of care, support, and opportunity. We strive to support survivors in redesigning their lives to achieve their maximum potential.

Statistics show that brain injury increases an individual’s risk of poverty, experiencing homelessness, addiction and involvement with the justice system. Survivors experience a high degree of loss – specifically, a loss of self. Their grief increases their chances of developing challenges with their mental health through their healing journey. 

The Cridge Brain Injury Services works with survivors to reach their maximum potential by providing one-on-one support focused on activities of daily living and meaningful community engagement. The purpose is to support their independence and connection to their community. We have successfully worked with BI survivors for the past 25 years, helping them to reintegrate into society and supporting them to live healthy and productive lives.

We are proud to announce that our Brain Injury program is now producing a podcast by survivors for survivors. This valuable resource will encourage any brain injury survivor and offer them resources and tools to live with their injury.
