SUPPORTIVE HOUSING
On-call / as needed
- Conversational language partners to help our new Canadians practice their English. Note: This volunteer role is only available for females.
- Moving residents in and our of our second-stage housing
TRANSITION HOUSE FOR WOMEN
4 hour weekly shift
- Support women with tasks and errands,
- Spend time with children
- Baking and cooking
Volunteer shifts can be at any time between 8 am and 10 pm. We require a minimum of 96 volunteer hours (one shift per week for six months). Please contact us at 250-479-3963 or volcoordinator@cridge.org for more information.

- Support residents with recreation and leisure pursuits at our licensed residential facility in Saanich
- Accompany residents on outings
- Garden cleanup
RESPITE & RESPITALITY SERVICES
- Prepare and deliver gift packages to local hotels for the families accessing a Respitality stay
- Special event planning and support
YOUNG PARENT OUTREACH PROGRAM
- Sorting and distributing clothing and other donations
- Supporting clients with errands
On-call / as-needed
- Assisting recreation staff with planning or running an activity
- Accompanying residents on an outing or field trip
- Providing musical performances or opportunities for residents to play musical instruments
- Event photography
- Planning and coordinating fundraising, education, or community events
