The Cridge Second Stage Program
New beginnings
You and your children deserve a life without violence. The Cridge Second Stage Program is a support program with accommodation for individuals who self identify as women who are working to rebuild their lives after intimate partner violence. We also have several units specifically to support newcomer families.
we offer
- Second stage support in townhouse and apartment-style units that are provided at lower than market accommodation fees
- Specialized support for families moving from crisis and instability to self-sufficiency, personal safety, and stability:
- Individual and/or group counselling
- Help with parenting after abuse
- Children’s programs
- Assistance with household management and life skills
- Social and recreational opportunities
- Connections to community supports
- The Cridge Second Stage Program offers short-term program agreements that may be renewed to participants who require further support. Our maximum stay is 3 years.
