While we are all so excited to have some restrictions lifted in the province, please remember that this doesn’t apply to The Cridge Seniors’ Village. As a vulnerable population, they are still unable to have visitors and our building remains closed. We will be working with the health authority to facilitate visits when it is deemed appropriate by Dr. Henry and Minister Dix.

“We invite families and children and ANYONE who wants to, to send a hello, an encouraging note, a photo of artwork they have done, ANYTHING we can print out and put on the meal trays of the seniors we serve who are feeling quite isolated from society at the moment. Send it to reachingout@cridge.org
Pass the request out on your own social media and spread the word – we’ll share with our seniors and we’ll make sure we share with other seniors’ services as well. Let’s wrap a blanket of care around these precious elders. Michael Buble shared a quote on his twitter feed: “Your grandparents were asked to go to war,” he says, “and all you’re being asked to do is to sit on the couch.” Well, it’s time to get up off the couch, get our your pen and your crayons, and bring a smile to someone!” Shelley Morris, CEO
