Preschool

Perhaps you don’t need full-time childcare, but you want your child to have the opportunity to begin to socialize more and to learn the routines that will ensure success in the transition to Kindergarten. If so, preschool is the answer you’ve been looking for. Our preschool runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings OR Tuesday and Thursday mornings and has the extra benefit of being nature-based. That means that your child will spend up to 75% of their time outdoors, learning and playing in nature. Studies show repeatedly that children who learn outdoors have a greater attention span, are healthier physically and emotionally, and have a greater understanding of the importance of the natural environment. We believe that there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing, so we equip each of our children with a “muddy buddy” to keep them warm and dry all day. We provide learning through play in the areas of language development, numeracy, sign language, science, art, music, dance and sports programming.
